ASR were triumphant today in the U15 McCarthy Cup final against Rockwell College.
This was a vintage tournament, starting in September on a league basis and finishing with a knockout quarter, semi and final game with many evenly contested games.Organised by Bro. Matthew Corkery OSB the final was held in Annacoty today at 2.45, in wet and windy conditions and both teams played a magnificent brand of rugby to warm the sizeable crowd of spectators. Rockwell opened the scoring with a penalty on fifteen minutes but ASR fought back with a try to leave the half-time score 5-3.
